The Taking of Jericho and Ai

[NOTE: Only Jericho is talked about in the following commentary.]

God’s Jericho Strategy—Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in. Then the Lord said to Joshua, ‘See, I have delivered Jericho into your hands, along with its king and its fighting men. March around the city once with all the armed men. Do this for six days. Have seven priests carry trumpets of rams’ horns in front of the ark. On the seventh day, march around the city seven times, with the priests blowing the trumpets. When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, have all the people give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the people will go up, every man straight in.’—Joshua 6:1-5 (Jericho)

Note: The part that’s underlined, if you heard something like that, would you act on it? Have you ever heard anything like that? I have. When I was with the sweet man, I heard, ‘Stay.’ I heard, ‘Look.’ Before that, it was, ‘Write. Teach.’ Then just, ‘Write.’ Then, ‘Write and they will come.’ Now it’s: ‘Be not afraid. Calm. Be patient. Trust. Trust Me, Karen Elizabeth.’ And there are other things, a lot of other things, said to me. Should I not trust in the voice of God? Why should I listen to you? What have YOU done that’s greater than God?

If you were told to do something like what Joshua was told, what would keep you from doing it? I think of the Wright brothers. Oh, my! how I would have loved to witness that! The people and all their arrogance criticized them. The Wrights said they were going to fly! Who the hell ever heard of such a thing? But they were told they could fly and then they were shown how. They listened! Then all those arrogant hypocrites had to eat their words. This is how God works! It doesn’t matter it if happens in the person’s lifetime or not. God’s will still happens. This you don’t seem to get!

In these Scriptures today, there are several things happening. The repetition of the mention of the number seven. The repetition of the saying of ‘sounding the trumpet’. And the repetition of ‘art of the Lord.’ All of this is for reason for God does NOT do things without reason. He’s speaking to you. Are you hearing?

P.S. The mention of the ARK is important! God is telling us HE IS IN CHARGE. Not man! This virus…GOD has sent it for a reason! FAITH!

The Plan Implemented—So Joshua son of Nun called the priests and said to them, ‘Take up the ark of the covenant of the Lord and have seven priests carry trumpets in front of it.’ And he ordered the people, ‘Advance! March around the city, with the armed guard going ahead of the ark of the Lord.’ When Joshua had spoken to the people, the seven priests carrying the seven trumpets before the Lord went forward, blowing their trumpets, and the ark of the Lord‘s covenant followed them. The armed guard marched ahead of the priests who blew the trumpets, and the rear guard followed the ark. All this time the trumpets were sounding. But Joshua had commanded the people, ‘Do not give a war cry, do not raise your voices, do not say a word until the day I tell you to shout. Then shout!’ So he had the ark of the Lord carried around the city, circling it once. Then the people returned to camp and spent the night there.—Joshua 6:6-11

Note: This ark deal that they carry around is like this symbol of God. No, He can’t be contained in anything! It’s a symbol that He had them believe it was part of Him. Of course, everything is God, so it actually was a part of Him, but no more a part of Him than my computer is. It served as a symbol. God had generation after generation carry this thing around, then build this elaborate temple for it. It was all symbolic on God’s part. The ark symbolizes faith!

Back to the story: He had these people carry this very heavy ark deal around this city once, every day. So picture all of these people marching around this city in silence except for the blowing of these horns. Can you picture the people inside of the walls of Jericho? They had to be like, ‘What the fuck are these crazy people doing?’ Isn’t that something! The same way all the arrogant people are mocking all those who truly know a killer virus is ravaging the nations and that it will get worse! Interesting the similarities! Or is this the very reason why God led me to this today? He does call me His prophet. So does Jesus. For a reason!

Be real. He IS showing you that your arrogance will kill you!

Marching Around Jericho—Joshua got up early the next morning and the priests took up the ark of the Lord. The seven priests carrying the seven trumpets went forward, marching before the ark of the Lord and blowing the trumpets. The armed men went ahead of them and the rear guard followed the ark of the Lord, while the trumpets kept sounding. So on the second day they marched around the city once and returned to the camp. They did this for six days.—Joshua 6:12-14

Note: The ark…the virus…GOD…faith. The people marching and blowing the trumpets (sounding the horns) are those scientists and God’s people who actually see what is going to happen and they are telling the arrogance over and over, no matter what the arrogance do to them or say about them. They are not denying the truth. To them, God’s more important than arrogant know-it-alls who are selfish and really lack empathy and sympathy for other human beings.

So all of you who read this and know that we are under God’s wrath, keep talking. Don’t worry about what others say. This is about GOD! This isn’t about being famous or right or wrong. It IS about GOD! He is angry. We must abide by His commands or we must pay. There are NO ifs, ands, or buts! He’s had me write about ‘sounding the horn‘ for a very long time now. You are veiled if you can’t see it. Pray that He unveils you. Pray that He opens you up to Him before your time comes. The sickles are out. I’ve seen them. This isn’t a joke. Generations could pass. It does NOT matter. What God says will happen, will happen!

Final Instructions—On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched around the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times. The seventh time around, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the people, ‘Shout! For the Lord has given you the city! The city and all that is in it are to be devoted to the Lord. Only Rahab the prostitute and all who are with her in her house shall be spared, because she hid the spies we sent. But keep away from the devoted things, so that you will not bring about your own destruction by taking any of them. Otherwise you will make the camp of Israel liable to destruction and bring trouble on it. All the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron are sacred to the Lord and must go into His treasury.’—Joshua 6:15-19

Note: The number 7 is very important throughout all of this! It is mentioned four times just in this Scripture! The next important part is the mention of Rahab. She was a sinner! This is way BEFORE Jesus came to save the sinners. Do you see it? In God’s eyes, you can save YOURSELF if you do what God asks you to do! I can’t understand why people can NOT understand this. All this garbage these mega churches preach! They are putting too much on your shoulders. You don’t need to say ten Hail Marys to save your own soul. You have to DO! This is the ONLY way you can save your own soul. So, if you raped or murdered or stole or caused any kind of harm to other human beings in any way, that includes mental, emotional and spiritual, in order for your soul to be saved, you MUST do righteous acts…what GOD deems righteous. And you will know if these acts are righteous. He will tell you. How will He tell you? Tears, baby, tears. You will feel this awesome feeling that will bring tears to your eyes. These tears, no one but you and God will see. That’s God, baby!

The ending of this says a LOT! The silver, gold, articles of bronze and iron: That is everything: humans, and all possessions. He says you can’t have. He says you can take what you need to survive: Food! Medicines! That is it. He does NOT say plunder! That has always been man’s mistake! In so many situations, it’s ‘take what you need then leave’. Man never just leaves!

Jericho’s Walls Fall—When the trumpets sounded, the people shouted, and at the sound of the trumpet, when the people gave a loud shout, the wall collapsed; so every man charged straight in, and they took the city. They devoted the city to the Lord and destroyed with the sword every living thing in it—men and women, young and old, cattle, sheep and donkeys.—Joshua 6:20,21

Note: Sound the HORN! I’m telling you here what I’m told to tell you. The act of symbolism is amazing in the Bible. If only we were taught the truth. God has directed my life to narcissism over and over again. He sent me a book last year written by a doctor that describes the healing of narcissism. Here, in this passage, is it: Scream! Narcissists have to reach way down and pull out the true hurt that they buried. Narcissism is created by an attack in some manner on a child. The worse ones are due to rape (the manipulation, the wooing of the victim, the deception…by priests is the worse of the rapes making the most terrible and destructive narcissists who seem to want to destroy all good in their path if they are not healed) and physical beatings. The rest are emotional torment. So, in order to heal from this destructional mental collapse (because that is exactly what happens) they have to act out their rage: Scream, kick, punch, jump up and down…whatever it takes to get the frustration that they are holding inside out, but done in a controlled environment where they are punching a punching bag and not a person!

Notice the last sentence: children are NOT mentioned! Cattle, sheep, donkey…I have realized throughout the Bible God isn’t actually referring to the animals, although God will destroy these animals when rape or sexual immorality is involved because the animal has become tainted. Domestication refers to anything that has grown to be accepted, this includes sexual immorality as in rapes, child rapes being the worse. NO where in anything does it say that SEX is a way to be closer to God or that it honors GOD! Never! God despises anyone who says such things. He has condemned any culture who teaches this to its people! The children are saved. The men and women who allow this are condemned! You have a choice. And if you don’t make the right choice, no matter the consequence, you are condemned for eternity!

ALL these civilizations who put restraints on women, who allow rape, child molestations, and anything associated with sexual immorality, including sex with animals are of the world…they belong to Satan and are not of God’s kingdom. Instead, they are the testers and are already condemned!

Rescue of Rahab—Joshua said to the two men who had spied out the land, ‘Go into the prostitute’s house and bring her out and all who belong to her, in accordance with your oath to her.’ So the young men who had done the spying went in and brought out Rahab, her father and her mother and brothers and all who belonged to her. They brought out her entire family and put them in a place outside the camp of Israel. Then they burned the whole city and everything in it, but they put the silver and gold and the articles of bronze and iron into the treasury of the Lord’s house. But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute, with her family and all who belonged to her, because she hid the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho—and she lives among the Israelites to this day.—Joshua 6:22-25

Note: Retribution. That is what Rahab stands for. So the very last part: and she lives among the Israelites to this day…means that retribution is always in play. Whatever you’ve done can be retributed by cleaning your heart, by turning your life around and doing righteous things in God’s eyes with a pure, cleaned heart. Rahab was mentioned in the Scripture I wrote today several times. What happened to her, and why, was mentioned several times! There’s a reason for this. Pay attention. God is telling you that you can purify your own life by putting all pride and ego aside and doing for HIM! The catch: Are you willing to do so even if society condemns you? Even if you have to give up all the sinful pleasures you so enjoy? Do you actually know the difference between sinful pleasures and grace? I bet you don’t!

The treasury of the Lord does NOT belong to any man-made church. It belongs to the PEOPLE. There should NOT be any hungry or homeless person in the entire world! Ever!

Curse on Jericho—At that time Joshua pronounced this solemn oath: ‘Cursed before the Lord is the man who undertakes to rebuild this city, Jericho: ‘At the cost of his firstborn son will he lay its foundations; at the cost of his youngest will he set up its gates.’ So the Lord was with Joshua, and his fame spread throughout the land.—Joshua 6:26,27

Note: So who was Joshua to be so powerful? Well, for one, the name Joshua is a powerful name: Jehoshua, Yehoshua, Jesus! Isn’t that something! He was also Moses’ assistant and took over after Moses died. Oh, he had gained favor with God. Yes, indeed! It seems that when a person, human being, gains this particular favor, which is very hard, they become something more, and through them, God professes His desires! I’d pay attention to this.

There’s one more thing that is spelled out in the Bible over and over: It is not a choice to gain this favor with God. The person, human being, is already predestined to gain this favor. When the favor becomes known to the human, they realize they are a direct servant of God and there is NO way for them to get out of the service. In fact, they don’t want to. They cry: Jonah, Isaiah, Jeremiah, all of them…Jonah ran from God, then complained when God didn’t destroy, and God disciplined him. Isaiah ran as well, for several weeks! Jeremiah begged the Lord telling Him he was too young! God pretty much told him, ‘So!’

No one WANTS to be called into the service of Prophet! It’s a death sentence in so many ways…and not just death as in loss of life. And no one has really explained it. Maybe that’s why I’m called: a curious person by nature; a people observer; a journalist mind; a God heart. Maybe I was called to explain this all to you! We ARE coming to a cycle end. Makes sense to me. Of course, no one understands this because they are taught the Revelations wrong!

The curse, by the way, is on sin!

Achan Takes Devoted Things—But the Israelites acted unfaithfully in regard to the devoted things; Achan son of Carmi, the son of Zimri, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of them. So the Lord’s anger burned against Israel.—Joshua 7:1

Note: There’s always the ‘If’ factor! And here it is. God would have given the Israelites, at that time, anything. He would give you anything, but there’s the ‘if’ factor! Even myself. He would give me people. He would give me whatever I want. He sent me this Ginny-in-a-bottle thing asking me what I wanted. I was flattered. I only want one thing: True Love. He said, ‘Okay.’ My task: patience. Do you know how hard this is for me? That’s the only ‘if’ factor and it is the hardest. This is HOW God works! You don’t get what you want in the way that you want it because there’s something you are NOT doing! And that is TRUSTING fully in what you can NOT see!
