(April 20, 2023)—He started this off by saying: ‘I have something to say.’
At the end of the writing, He led me to Elijah…those Scriptures follow below. They are for you.

The Scripture He led me to in the middle of the writing:
Enemies Called to War—‘Attack the land of Merathaim and those who live in Pekod. Pursue, kill and completely destroy them,’ declares the Lord. ‘Do everything I have commanded you. The noise of battle is in the land, the noise of great destruction! How broken and shattered is the hammer of the whole Earth! How desolate is Babylon among the nations! I set a trap for you, O Babylon, and you were caught before you knew it; you were found and captured because you opposed the Lord. The Lord has opened His arsenal and brought out the weapons of His wrath, for the Sovereign Lord Almighty has work to do in the land of the Babylonians. Come against her from afar. Break open her granaries; pile her up like heaps of grains. Completely destroy her and leave her no remnant. Kill all her young bulls; let them go down to the slaughter! Woe to them! For their day has come, the time for them to be punished. Listen to the fugitives and refugees from Babylon declaring in Zion how the Lord our God has taken vengeance, vengeance for His temple. Summon archers against Babylon, all those who draw the bow. Encamp all around her; let no one escape. Repay her for her deeds; do to her as she has done. For she has defied the Lord, the Holy One of Israel. Therefore, her young men will fall in the streets; all her soldiers will be silenced in that day,’ declares the Lord.—Jeremiah 50:21-30
Triumphant Return—So Jehoshaphat and his men went to carry off their plunder, and they found among them a great amount of equipment and clothing and also articles of value―more than they could take away. There was so much plunder that it took three days to collect it. On the fourth day they assembled in the Valley of Beracah, where they praised the Lord. This is why it is called the Valley of Beracah to this day. Then, led by Jehoshaphat, all the men of Judah and Jerusalem returned joyfully to Jerusalem, for the Lord had given them cause to rejoice over their enemies. They entered Jerusalem and went to the temple of the Lord with harps and lutes and trumpets. The fear of God came over all the kingdoms of the countries when they heard how the Lord had fought against the enemies of Israel. And the kingdom of Jehoshaphat was at peace, for his God had given him rest on every side.—2 Chronicles 20:25-30 (Valley of Beracah)
Limited Shipping Alliance—[Chronicles] Later, Jehoshaphat king of Judah made an alliance with Ahaziah king of Israel, who was guilty of wickedness. He agreed with him to construct a fleet of trading ships. [Kings] Now Jehoshaphat built a fleet of trading ships to go to Ophir for gold…[Chronicles] After these were built at Ezion-Geber, Eliezer son of Dodavahu of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, ‘Because you have made an alliance with Ahaziah, the Lord will destroy what you have made.’ The ships were wrecked and were not able to set sail to trade. [Kings] At that time Ahaziah son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, ‘Let my men sail with your men,’ but Jehoshaphat refused.—2 Chronicles 20:35-37; 1 Kings 22:48,49 (Jerusalem)
Ahaziah Falls Ill—Now Ahaziah had fallen through the lattice of his upper room in Samaria and injured himself. So he sent messengers, saying to them, ‘Go and consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, to see if I will recover from this injury.’—2 Kings 1:2 (Samaria)
Elijah Brings Prophecy—But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, ‘Go up and meet the messengers of the king of Samaria and ask them, ‘Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are going off to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron?’ Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘You will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!’ So Elijah went. When the messengers returned to the king, he asked them, ‘Why have you come back?’ ‘A man came to meet us,’ they replied. ‘And he said to us, ‘Go back to the king who sent you and tell him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel that you are sending men to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Therefore you will not leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!” The king asked them, ‘What king of a man was it who came to meet you and told you this?’ They replied, ‘He was a man with a garment of hair and with a leather belt around his waist.’ The king said, ‘That was Elijah the Tishbite.’—2 Kings 1:3-8
Messengers Killed—Then he sent to Elijah a captain with his company of fifty men. The captain went up to Elijah, who was sitting on the top of a hill, and said to him, ‘Man of God, the king says, ‘Come down!’ Elijah answered the captain, ‘If I am a man of God, may fire come down from Heaven and consume you and your fifty men!’ Then fire fell from Heaven and consumed the captain and his men. At this the king sent to Elijah another captain with his fifty men. The captain said to him, ‘Man of God, this is what the king says, ‘Come down at once!’ ‘If I am a man of God,’ Elijah replied, ‘may fire come down from Heaven and consume you and your fifty men!’ Then the fire of God fell from Heaven and consumed him and his fifty men. So the king sent a third captain with his fifty men. The third captain went up and fell on his knees before Elijah. ‘Man of God,’ he begged, ‘please have respect for my life and the lives of these fifty men, your servants! See, fire has fallen from Heaven and consumed the first two captains and all their men. But now have respect for my life!’—2 Kings 1:9-14
Ahaziah Told of Death—The angel of the Lord said to Elijah, ‘Go down with him; do not be afraid of him.’ So Elijah got up and went down with him to the king. He told the king, ‘This is what the Lord says: Is it because there is no God in Israel for you to consult that you have sent messengers to consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron? Because you have done this, you will never leave the bed you are lying on. You will certainly die!’—2 Kings 1:15,16
Ahaziah Dies—So he died, according to the word of the Lord that Elijah had spoken. As for all the other events of Ahaziah’s reign, and what he did, are they not written in the book of the annals of the kings of Israel?—2 Kings 1:17a,18 (856 B.C.)
Joram (Jehoram) Becomes King—Because Ahaziah had no son, Joram [son of Ahab] succeeded him as king [of Israel in Samaria in the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat] in the second year of Jehoram son of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned twelve years.—2 Kings 1:17b; 3:1 (853-852 B.C.)
Joram’s Character—He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, but not as his father and mother had done. He got rid of the sacred stone of Baal that his father had made. Nevertheless he clung to the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, which he had caused Israel to commit; he did not turn away from them.—2 Kings 3:2,3
