Time Wasted: A Passing Notion (Yeshuah)

it's a bleep of a second
that you miss opportunities
scarce they are
to improve on moments
a simple hello
a simple kind gift of love
conversation with a stranger
reassurances noted
helping someone's day
a frown replaced

all of these moments
simple gestures
adds to good places
on hearts

taking corrections
with glee and acceptance
instead of aggravation
and pride

taking advice
in good nature
putting them into practice
instead of throwing them away

it's all simple things
being passed to you
through another
by divine notations
because your worth was found

it is I†, the teacher
the master of all teachers
setting records straight
insuring a good fate
lies waiting in faith

take courage in the day
to see every moment
of good deeds
can be found
and used appropriately

a gleaming moment
of hope
passed along
without wasting it
out of fear
of what others
will think of you

their thoughts do not count
it is I†, the one sent
who matters
who sees every single
good deed
hoping you take the moments
and not waste them

the sound of cheer
rings
the hearing of joyful
proclaim
a good deed was performed
that striking moment
was noted
and acted upon
without hesitation

that's the makings
of a good heart
even when you think
it's bad
good deeds show proof
the good that lies within

it is I†, the Son†
a good deed
measures a heart justly
these words are true
righteous to the good heart

judgment has no place
in a good heart
it is not easy
setting pride aside
to abide by moments given
to do good deeds
but they are given freely
the choice is given to you
to use and not waste

be careful that you take notice
and not let these moments
slip by you
these tokens given
in matters of hearts
being prepared
for the kingdom

I† am with you
let the peace fall on you
when you do good deeds
for another
you are doing good deeds
for Me†
without acknowledging Me†
the good deed
goes unnoticed
for the heart is not polished
to truly see truth

value in truth
is everything that's good

I† am He† who is good
who is truth
when you deny truth
you deny the one
the Father† sent
the head of the foundation
of truth

see to it
the moments sent
get your attention

each moment acted upon
leads you to more good
the experiences you hope for
your resurrection comes
in good deeds given

you have to give
in order to be given

it is I†
trust in Me†
come follow Me†
I† will lead you
to the Father†
the king of all kings
the one above
no one is above Him†

I† am the light
let Me† shine upon you
in peace, I† give you rest

Notes: The photograph David chose is from October 23, 2019: The Dragon and the All-Seeing Eye.

(August 31, 2022)—‘Time Wasted: A Passing Notion’ was given yesterday. After He led me to Romans 16:17-20. In the margins of my Bible, I wrote ‘October’s Mourning’. It is a piece I wrote in 2019 (Book 13), so I thought I’d include it with this piece.

*Warning about TroublemakersI urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naïve people. Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.—Romans 16:17-20
