(September 8, 2023)―Prudent means ‘acting with or showing care and thought for the future’…I do all of this writing for a future I do not know, instructed by God, Himself, and I cannot refuse Him. He has made me prudent. No man could ever do this. And looking back, I was always this way. It is not bragging, it is teaching you what it means to be the prudent of the world.
The world says it wants prudency, but it does not act on what it says. That is the basics of their hypocrisy.
Just a couple of questions: How many cars do you have? How many boats? Do you constantly cut your grass to make it look pretty? Is your home full of stuff? Is your home way bigger than needed because you want to show-off? Are you constantly buying fast food instead of buying or even raising your own things to cook yourself? Are your children baptized in Jesus’ name? Do you teach your children about God and Yeshuah and read to them the Bible? Do you sin? Do you teach your children not to sin? Do you tolerate what God hates? Do you rally for what God hates? Do you build weapons that kill people? Are you a party to killing, maiming, injury to another human being? And, most importantly, are you learning who God and Yeshuah are?
Can you be honest to any of these questions? Do you see how I’ve covered the whole, entire world with just these simple questions?
Honesty is hard, isn’t it?
Here’s another question: Are you willing to sell or give away all your possessions except for the basic comforts in order to live the Way of Jesus Christ?
I can answer for you because I’m that sure of your answer. No. There are a very few who can answer that question with a yes. Mostly, because all of their man-made churches aren’t selling their stuff so why should they!
That is the basics of being prudent.
Wisdom instructed today about giving advice. I’ve given plenty and not from ignorance, but from experience and divine knowledge. I must have a very insincere face because the advice I pass on is often met with arrogance…‘you’re a miss know it all’ has been the punch line for my advice. I don’t care. I give it anyway. Every chance I can, I give advice. Why? Because the knowledge is passed to me and it is put into my heart to speak it…and I would be a fool in God’s eyes if I didn’t pass on the wisdom given.
Do not be afraid to speak it!
That which is put into your heart, is truth, speak it. Yes, you very well might get that look…the one arrogance likes to give. You know that look. It often comes with a sigh and a raised eyebrow or a smirk or a sense they put off that you don’t know anything. I’ve had it all. I keep going. I keep giving. I do it because it is given to me for free. So I give for free as well.
I can tell you this…I’ve given that advice and 10/15 years later what I’ve witnessed is sad. If only they’d listened. But their pride, ego…i.e. arrogance…got in the way.
Wisdom gives and takes away. I’ve learned this well. And God has done tricks to me to show me what Wisdom can do. She can rob your mind. Her ways are not tricks…She pulls away because God instructs Her to.
Then She can give in abundance to see what you will do with what She gives. Byway of God’s instruction, I assure you. I’ve witnessed so many people waste the knowledge given, waste the talents given, waste the advice given…all for hatred, jealousy, pride, ego, ignorance (which they choose to be in), shame, and plain ‘ole arrogance.
When I sat down to write, not knowing what I would be writing, I heard, ‘Open the Book deep.’ Acts 22:30-23:5.
This line stuck out: ‘God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!’
Does that sound failure? It should. That was Paul…Yeshuah didn’t say those exact words, but He was struck and He questioned why.
I have used my hands to slap before, deep in my darkness, when I was ignorant of the truth. I defended myself against pure words and anger. Today, I’m instructed to not only not use my body in any way for defense, but my words as well. He desires mercy not retaliation. This isn’t an easy feat for me. God, Himself, made me the firecracker that bucked easily at sin and wrong doings. Now, He’s telling me to become exactly like Yeshuah, like all the prophets, like Paul. Zero defense. Just truth and calmness.
So, for me, I’m not learning something new. I’m returning to who I’ve always been. The darkness of betrayal and malicious intentions brought out the fire in me. It was for reason I assure you. I have the books written, the pain and anguish written. He made me tough and strong in order to face what He was sending me into. The testimony if you really want to read about it.
Whatever you are going through, violence, any type of malicious intent, shame, death, even simple disappointment, hang on. You are there for a reason. God isn’t punishing you. He’s protecting you, especially, if you are alone. In the end, He’s bringing you to humility. He’s changing you into the prudent.
Be gentle with yourself and, even if the thoughts are loud in your mind, don’t act on killing yourself in anyway. This is one of the strongest tests given to you. God knows which ones will fail and which ones will pass. You can always surprise Him! Pass!
All of these things in this world mean nothing. Every vine crosses every branch of it. We, no matter how far we are from each other, are affected by the vine’s decisions in every branch. And God weeds and prunes. Trust me…He does. Don’t allow Him to weed or prune you out. Fight with everything you have.
And if Wisdom sends in reconnaissance, see it for what it is. And don’t take it lightly. What She gives is life-changing and so is what She takes. Advice comes around from everyone and not all are from Wisdom Herself. Listen to it all, write them down if you have to, then pray and you will receive an answer…in God’s time, not yours.
On Trail Before Sanhedrin—The next day, since the commander wanted to find out exactly why Paul was being accused by the Jews, he released him and ordered the chief priests and all the Sanhedrin to assemble. Then he brought Paul and had him stand before them. Paul looked straight at the Sanhedrin and said, ‘My brothers, I have fulfilled my duty to God in all good conscience to this day.’ At this, the high priest Ananias ordered those standing near Paul to strike him on the mouth. Then Paul said to him, ‘God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! You sit there to judge me according to the law, yet you yourself violate the law by commanding that I be struck!’ Those who were standing near Paul said, ‘You dare to insult God’s high priest?’ Paul replied, ‘Brothers, I did not realize that he was the high priest; for it is written: ‘Do not speak evil about the ruler of your people’ [Exodus 22:28].’—Acts 22:30-23:5
The photograph David chose for this writing, a writing that either he or Yeshuah helped me write. I can’t say. I heard, ‘I will help you.’ So, I don’t guess. Anyway, it’s from October 2, 2019: Wave Warning.
