‘Times Change, Times Gone’ (Yeshuah)

‘Times Change, Times Gone’ (Yeshuah)…Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.—Daniel 1:8-16

Times Change, Times Gone (Yeshuah)

is it in the deck
that you count the cards
or is it in the heart
the place where lies
the Lord†

on goes the march
listen close
for the charge

through the hand
of the new bard
here lies
all the cards

it is I†, the Lord†
the one called upon
by many
accepting the charge

Yeshuah†, the only Son†
giving hope
where man
comes up short

it is upon you
this charge
correcting wrongs
discharged

put back the portions
stolen
fix the wrongs
disbarred

there's a careful rhyme
to consider
as walks on
death's march

science doesn't play a part
in this here part
to fight this next round
you'll need
matters of the heart

sing praise
sing praise to the Lord†
for He's† in charge

it is I†
I† speak for Him†
though He†, too, speaks

listen close to the warn
it is not
to make you feel warm
but cold
facing scars
left behind
by inside wars

the discipline marches on
it is upon these scars
you must wage
against inside wars

all this fight
resources, resources, resources
can't anyone
get it right

the Almighty God†
is in charge

see that
and you'll see the reasons
behind the scars

the death march
one, two, three
four and five
count your blessings
if you are still alive
science is banking
on the survive
to prove they are a god
instead of seeing
what is times the five

look close at your resources
don't think in remorse
this isn't a cause
for you to fight
neither are the seeds
God† gives outright

the march continues
but slow takes its course
depending on how you see
maybe hearing
is the way to be

fear the Lord†
and His† charge
He† makes the final call
setting you before Me†
for that final call

your moment will be spread
a combine
soon to show its head
look deep
look low
all around
it will show

since plain talk
is too hard
codes and riddles
brings to light
the charge

it is I†
the one and only Son†
your future will know truth
as you surrendered
to deception's booth

wake up 'o deception
it's time to play the flute
all these fools
enjoy the makings
of your playful tools

clap, clap, clap
number four
is at the door

stay alive, stay alive
for round five
will be a dive

go forth
and tell the watchman
'look out, look out
the calvary's march
is on the go'
as war flows
the iron grows
for oil and gas
won't stop its nose

seek refuge in Me†
I† can show you
what's to be
for I† am an arm
not of your holy see
but of He†
Thee†
the one and only
living God†
the Lord† almighty
in charge of the land
and the sea

(May 12, 2022)—Eat veges. Don’t get this virus. The last time He led me to this set of Scripture was in 2020!

Captives For King’s ServiceThen the king ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials, to bring in some of the Israelites from the royal family and the nobility—young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king’s palace. He was to teach them the language and literature of the Babylonians. The king assigned them a daily amount of food and wine from the king’s table. They were to be trained for three years, and after that they were to enter the king’s service.—Daniel 1:3-5 (Ca. 604 B.C., Babylon )

Names ChangedAmong these were some from Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. The chief official gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego.—Daniel 1:6,7

Royal Food RefusedBut Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. Now God had caused the official to show favor and sympathy to Daniel, but the official told Daniel, ‘I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned you food and drink. Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men your age? The king would then have my head because of you.’ Daniel then said to the guard whom the chief official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, ‘Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.’ So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days. At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food. So the guard took away their choice food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead.—Daniel 1:8-16

Special AbilitiesTo these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.—Daniel 1:17

Favor of NebuchadnezzarAt the end of the time set by the king to bring them in, the chief officials presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service. In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.—Daniel 1:18-20 (Ca. 601 B.C.)
