Small Miracle
'do you understand
the blessing'
I heard Jesus'† voice say
stopping me in my tracks
as I walked in my living room
a voice in my mind
halting time
'yes,' I answered
not seeing anyone there
knowing the voice
in the air
hearing it in my ear
‒there's nothing to fear
'do you know
what a miracle is'
He† then asked
'yes,' I answered
'you have a small miracle
coming,' He† replied
‒then He† was gone
'do you know
what a miracle is'
david asked later on
then I listed
all that I saw:
money, traffic halted
even a field of fog
balling into a ball
‒he then told me:
I was in flaw
those were gifts
even my heart‒
all of it
none were miracles
none of it
then fear engulfed me
'what is going to happen'
twisting it over and over
in my mind
knowing God's† power
me...He† could devour
'you have a small miracle
coming'‒
He† said it plain
‒this...not a game
all the pictures
all the words
'a small miracle'
the ending of a cycle‒
as I wait
meanings....
we don't really know
‒for Jesus† to show
a small miracle
to unfold
