Affliction's Time

are you worthy?
do you know your worth
‒in comes
the tester of thought
bringing about
what you brought
into existence

you are sought
directly by the Lord†
to suffer affliction
for sins caught
to purify you‒
change what you're taught

your suffering
'is' the way of the cross

applause, applause
to the shepherds in false
putting all things on Jesus†
thinking a backwood's waltz

do you know the holocaust
do you know why wars
are fought

if Jesus† hung on a cross
by Himself†
for you
then why such judicial law
then why the killings in bulk
or issues like lynch law
all around the globe‒
a none-abiding court of law

it's all a sly catch
nothing seen in a crystal ball
basically hogwash
to the truth in taunt

God† being symbolic
demonstrated in full view
since through words
you couldn't be taught

Jesus† elected to open a door
so you can walk
instead of crawl

God† chose to make it evolve
pave a road
reveal the cross
in a manner of bulk

to purify your soul
‒cleanse your heart of sin
you must carry your cross
the affliction given by the Boss
with dignity and honor
with courageousness
and trust

it's not anyone's fault
that what you teach
is at fault
it is yours‒
wanting/needing the applause
be part of a cult

Jesus† said what to do
with bad salt

‒in the end
to be exalted
standup in Spirit
carry your cross
‒even in difficult
don't revolt
in faith‒
never exhaust
word's of prayer
to the Almighty Lord†
