Overcome By Truth

the messenger of conversion
sent word
those who've regained
or never lost
that child-heart verse
‒in the water….submerged
coming out with His† seal

be clothed with simplicity
strip away your sinful self
without resentment
as well as recollection

you've been submerged
willingly
on your own accord
‒all for the Lord†
His† seal you've earned

forgiveness comes…on your part
first
keeping you out the hearse

forgive others and God†
then put it away

get rid of anger, torment of all kind
with the Son†
on your shoulder…perched
let go
do not remember past offenses
or seek vengeance
for vengeance is not yours to seek

become one
fall into the vine
out of Earth, into rebirth
reject all wickedness
then in the Kingdom
a place for you…reserved

(April 22, 2024)—Part eight of Similitude Nine given to Hermas. After reading this a second time, He led me to Jeremiah 23:9-24.

‘Submersion’

…He must remain in Heaven until the time comes for God to restore everything, as He promised long ago through His holy prophets….’―Acts 3:17-26

Submersion

to accept the seal of the Son†
one must be submerged
completely
in water

one is submerged in death
but rises to life

it is not detailed
in some article in a newspaper
or told by a neighbor
or explained by a lector

it was explained
by the magnifier
of what's greater

it a choice given
by the giver
it cannot be forced
by an intruder

pouring drips of water
on an infant
can be a starter
but it's not the token
told by the informer

one must be submerged
completely surrounded
by depths of water
to reemerge
in the awakeness of life
that which breathes
the truth of the light

then after the register
the seal-of-the-Son† taker
becomes the doer
‒offering your candor
to all willing
even an offender
so through eternal life
they become the winner
