(February 14, 2021)―The teacher. He brought me to Saul and Samuel this afternoon. The people had a king: God. But they couldn’t remain sincere to someone they couldn’t see, so they demanded a man-king. This truly broke God’s heart, but His love is so sincere that He gave man what man wanted. He always does. And what does man do: Protest.

Nothing much has changed as Jesus said this afternoon. You demanded for years, especially here in the US, more vacation time. God heard. He gave it to you byway of a plague. The message: ‘My hand is mighty. Repent.’ He forced us all into a corner and instead of accepting it because we all asked for it, we did what humans always do, bitched.

You forget that God is in control.

We can’t changed what He already set in motion. All we can do is accept, forgive, and live. But you don’t seem to know how to do that. Look around, this pandemic is not over. Yet they put out vaccines that may/may not work, with a large number of people dying because of the vaccines, and yet you believe that it’s a cure-all and the pandemic is gone. I hope you are right, but I know you are wrong.

I’ve been in leadership roles. Even though people want a leader, they don’t want a leader. They just don’t want to take the responsibility of what comes with being a leader so they pass that on so that they can condemn those in leadership. And why is that? Simple: Too many leaders have gone bad. Saul went bad. The first king God appoint in this cycle. He didn’t trust the Lord.

Leaders go bad because people give them too much power: the excuse to go bad. Everyone wants to be a chief and not an Indian. In so having this desire, they all kiss butt, brown nose, in order to become some sort of chief. In doing this, the common people get pushed further and further down. A primary example of this is the USA Congressional floor. No one looks at them. No one sees their riches and the people pay for every single thing coming out of Washington. I’ve written about this over and over. Many have. But no one wants to take the responsibility. In the US, congress was never meant to be a retirement home!

The Pharisees and all those high-ranking men of Israel, they became just this way. Power. Status. Pride. Ego. And what did it lead to? When God veiled them to make a choice on their own, they killed His Son! They were too overshadowed by the WORLD that they couldn’t see GOD!

Yes, Jesus has it right: One Hundred Percent! Of course, He does. He IS truth.

Nothing much has changed. The world is overcoming the being just as the last cycle…and you who say you know God are part of it. All this making money off of God and Jesus…ask any of those preachers and churches who have millions of dollars in the bank to sell everything and follow Jesus. Go head and ask. They will say that they have and the money that they have is communal because God rewarded them for being righteous! They are lying because God does not reward with money. Neither does Jesus. They take care of their servants but they do not GIVE material wealth for the sake of being rich as a reward. When they give wealth, it is for the person or organization to give it away, and not become rich because of the wealth given.

Here’s the point: If all the ‘churches‘ in the world gave their horded material wealth away, they’d be not one single hungry mouth to feed and not one single being would live in a box with dirt floors or freezing in the cold. If all the government employees around the world did their job and not steal from the people to make themselves rich, crime would drastically decrease and anger and hate would lesson considerably.

These things will not happen. All of the evil in the world are tests: the confusion is meant to be. God uses these tests to test each and everyone of us. Example: You lose your job. Your kid gets killed. Your daughter falls to drugs. You child gets pregnant at an early age. You are raped. Your wife or husband is murdered. Your house is seized. Your government is corrupt. All of these issues are tests. Not just for one person. For all that is involved. The tests are designed to see what we will do when your back is up against the wall.

What will you do when all is taken from you? Will you stay in anger? Will you kill someone? Will you steal from someone? Etc, etc. Then think of it this way: God brings you to it. He will give you a door to get out of it but you have to see it or else you will be stuck in the same cycle over and over until you do. Hint: This where the vine comes into play. Then…when you finally get out of the process God put you through, are you going to hate Him for it or see the truth: Which is: He is your father and He is teaching you the hard way?

Free will and unconditional love. It’s your choice how you survive. It’s your choice how you die.

Kingship Plans Undisclosed—Now Saul’s uncle asked him and his servant, ‘Where have you been?’ ‘Looking for the donkeys,’ he said. ‘But when we saw they were not to be found, we went to Samuel.’ Saul’s uncle said, ‘Tell me what Samuel said to you.’ Saul replied, ‘He assured us that the donkeys had been found.’ But he did not tell his uncle what Samuel had said about the kingship.—1 Samuel 10:14-16

Saul Chosen as King—Samuel summoned the people of Israel to the Lord at Mizpah and said to them, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘I brought Israel up out of Egypt, and I delivered you from the power of Egypt and all the kingdoms that oppressed you.’ But you have now rejected your God, who saves you out of all your calamities and distresses. And you have said, ‘No, set a king over us.’ So now present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and clans.’ When Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, the tribe of Benjamin was chosen. Then he brought forward the tribe of Benjamin, clan by clan, and Matri’s clan was chosen. Finally Saul son of Kish was chosen. But when they looked for him, he was not to be found. So they inquired further of the Lord, ‘Has the man come here yet?’ And the Lord said, ‘Yes, he has hidden himself among the baggage.’ They ran and brought him out, and as he stood among the people he was a head taller than any of the others. Samuel said to all the people, ‘Do you see the man the Lord has chosen? There is no one like him among all the people.’ Then the people shouted, ‘Long live the king!’ Samuel explained to the people the regulations of the kingship. He wrote them down on a scroll and deposited it before the Lord. Then Samuel dismissed the people, each to his own house.—1 Samuel 10:17-23 (Ca 1043 B.C. ?, Mizpah)

Mixed Acceptance—Saul also went to his home in Gibeah, accompanied by valiant men whose hearts God had touched. But some troublemakers said, ‘How can this fellow save us?’ They despised him and brought him no gifts. But Saul kept silent.—1 Samuel 10:26,27 (Gibeah)

Saul Show Leadership—Nahash the Ammonite went up and besieged Jabesh-Gilead. And all the men of Jabesh said to him, ‘Make a treaty with us, and we will be subject to you.’ But Nahash the Ammonite replied, ‘I will make a treaty with you only on the condition that I gouge out the right eye of every one of you and so bring disgrace on all Israel.’ The elders of Jabesh said to him, ‘Give us seven days so we can send messengers throughout Israel; if no one comes to rescue us, we will surrender to you.’ When the messengers came to Gibeah of Saul and reported these terms to the people, they all wept aloud. Just then Saul was returning from the fields, behind his oxen, and he asked, ‘What is wrong with the people? Why are they weeping?’ Then they repeated to him what the men of Jabesh had said. When Saul heard their words, the Spirit of God came upon him in power, and he burned with anger. He took a pair of oxen, cut them into pieces, and sent the pieces by messengers throughout Israel, proclaiming, ‘This is what will be done to the oxen of anyone who does not follow Saul and Samuel.’ Then the terror of the Lord fell on the people, and they turned out as one man. When Saul mustered them at Bezek, the men of Israel number three hundred thousand and the men of Judah thirty thousand. They told the messengers who had come, ‘Say to the men of Jabesh-Gilead, ‘By the time the sun is hot tomorrow, you will be delivered.’ When the messengers went and reported this to the men of Jabesh, they were elated. They said to the Ammonites, ‘Tomorrow we will surrender to you, and you can do to us whatever seems good to you.’ The next day Saul separated his men into three divisions; during the last watch of the night they broke into the camp of the Ammonites and slaughtered them until the heat of the day. Those who survived were scattered, so that no two of them were left together.—1 Samuel 11:1-11

Saul’s Kingship Confirmed—The people then said to Samuel, ‘Who was it that asked, ‘Shall Saul reign over us?’ Bring these men to us and we shall put them to death.’ But Saul said, ‘No one shall be put to death today, for this day the Lord has rescued Israel.’ Then Samuel said to the people, ‘Come, let us go to Gilgal and there reaffirm the kingship.’ So all the people went to Gilgal and confirmed Saul as king in the presence of the Lord. There they sacrificed fellowship offerings before the Lord, and Saul and all the Israelites held a great celebration.—1 Samuel 11:12-15(Gilgal)

Samuel’s Farewell Address—Samuel said to all Israel, ‘I have listened to everything you said to me and have set a king over you. Now you have a king as your leader. As for me, I am old and gray, and my sons are here with you. I have been your leader from my youth until this day. Here I stand. Testify against me in the presence of the Lord and His anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I cheated? Whom have I oppressed? From whose hand have I accepted a bribe to make me shut my eyes? If I have done any of these, I will make it right.’ ‘You have not cheated or oppressed us,’ they replied. ‘You have not taken anything from anyone’s hand.’ Samuel said to them, ‘The Lord is witness against you, and also His anointed is witness this day, that you have not found anything in my hand.’ ‘He is witness,’ they said. Then Samuel said to the people, ‘It is the Lord who appointed Moses and Aaron and brought your forefathers up out of Egypt. Now then, stand here, because I am going to confront you with evidence before the Lord as to all the righteous acts performed by the Lord for you and your fathers.’—1 Samuel 12:1-7
