(February 14, 2021)―The teacher. He brought me to Saul and Samuel this afternoon. The people had a king: God. But they couldn’t remain sincere to someone they couldn’t see, so they demanded a man-king. This truly broke God’s heart, but His love is so sincere that He gave man what man wanted. He always does. And what does man do: Protest.
Nothing much has changed as Jesus said this afternoon. You demanded for years, especially here in the US, more vacation time. God heard. He gave it to you byway of a plague. The message: ‘My hand is mighty. Repent.’ He forced us all into a corner and instead of accepting it because we all asked for it, we did what humans always do, bitched.
You forget that God is in control.
