‘Scolded Child’

No one is smarter or has more power than God. No one. He WILL discipline you. He Will.

 Scolded Child

the stubbornness of me
has put me in deep
but I can't deny
the greatness of Thee†
all of my control–
set in captivity
as You† bring Your† hand
down on me
–not in subtle–
but instantly...directly

job knew this powerful deed
many have felt and seen

You† can push all eyes away
turn people to blind
give loneliness new bleeds
then bring in welcomeness
one by one–
all on how you deem

You† have the power
to bring life or death
people contend it's luck
or an accident
or a vicious attack
they don't see
it's God's† tip
of His† hat
the predestined fact
without prayer
without glorification
no changes...it remains

you will suffer
for He† wills you to suffer
you succeed
for He† wills your success
you mourn
for He† wills you to do so

if you go through life
deaf and blind
your predestiny remains in kind

if you listen and see
newness of destiny can be

when He† demands you
there's nothing you can do
there's no dues to pay
there's no getting outta
anyone's way
you must do
or He'll† torment you
'til you comply in the do
so do what He† ask of you
without question or drool

(August 28)―The Book of Job. I had a few more arguments with God. Yes, out loud in the space of my living room for several days. The Bible says to question everything…I do! In my argument, Job came up. My meditation journey has taken me to places I didn’t expect. I’ve done some reading online, some of the experiences I’m having aren’t written about…well, not what I’m finding anyway. There’s a part, which I’ll explain later, that is bothering me a great deal. I fight it. Well, I was basically scolded for fighting it then…THEN…I opened my Bible and there it was…JOB! I haven’t been led to Job in quite a while, but I in my argument, I used Job and there it is today…GOD IS AMAZING!

So, Job is speaking to 3 friends, whom I refer to as the counsel, about who God is. The 3, younger than he, of course, believe they know everything. When we are led to their part in the Scripture, it is the words themselves that matter, not the entire Scripture. When read as a whole, they take on a whole new meaning…because what they have to say is wrong about who God is! I was specifically led to Job 5:17-27 then something made me go back a little to read this entire section which I’ve included here. Do you want to know how God works? The part of this Scripture when Job is speaking, this was the basis of my entire argument with God! And how Job explains how God disciplines…Yep! Enough said. Trust me when I say before my eyes were released during this discipline, I really thought I’d be blind. I’m lucky I wasn’t.

God does not do things in secret. If He sends us a message for the people, it is not meant to be hidden. Sure, there will be plenty of false messengers. That evil whore likes to fuck shit up. I’m not one of them. You do not have to trust me at all! Frankly, I don’t give a damn! But I’m going to reveal what’s sent to me.

One thing you need to understand: We are all tools. We can be pulled from our normal routine at any time and used for a different purpose. You don’t have to believe that either. I could care less. I’m telling you the truth all the same. If you think you are smarter than God, go ahead and fuck shit up. Like in ‘Scolded Child’, our paths are already laid out, only you can change it by doing the extraordinary. If you just sit there like a bump on the log and let things just be, you will be just that…just being…living the life mapped out for you. But…always a but….if you LISTEN and learn to hear the Lord and do what He ask, your path changes…that’s not you or luck! That’s God.

I’m not going to explain this Scripture to you. You need to wake up and take the initiative and learn who God is. You are being lazy if you are not. The visions He sent to me…they are going to happen. So, ignore, sit there and live your life according to society. Go on. When it happens, don’t go crying, ‘Dear Lord, help me!’ He’s giving you a chance to change. He’s giving you a chance to choose. He said in the vision that once you choose, it can not be undone. So, to me, it appears there’s a time limit on this choose. Then apparently the choose will be taken off the table. Do you ever wonder how the evil one will get all those people to accept its mark? There you go!

Then Eliphas the Temanite replied: ‘If someone ventures a word with you, will you be impatient? But who can keep from speaking? Think how you have instructed many, how you have strengthened feeble hands. Your words have supported those who stumbled; you have strengthened faltering knees. But now trouble comes to you, and you are discouraged; it strikes you, and you are dismayed. Should not your piety be your confidence and your blameless ways your hope?’—Job 4:1-6 (Eliphaz is Speaking and he is wrong.)

‘Consider now: Who, being innocent, has ever perished? Where were the upright ever destroyed? As I have observed, those who ploy evil and those who sow trouble reap it. At the breath of God they are destroyed; at the blast of His anger they perish. The lions may roar and growl, yet the teeth of the great lions are broken. The lion perishes for lack of prey, and the cubs of the lioness are scattered.—Job 4:7-11  (Eliphaz is Speaking and he is wrong.)

Notes: Now this is way before Christ comes! God DOES NOT CHANGE! What Eliphaz says here is totally WRONG! If you have lived a sinful life and change for the good, all your sins are forgiven. If you are a righteous person and suddenly do something wrong, screw what you did before, it does not matter.

‘A word was secretly brought to me, my ears caught a whisper of it. Amid disquieting dreams in the night, when deep sleep falls on men, fear and trembling seized me and made all my bones shake. A spirit glided past my face, and the hair on my body stood on end. It stopped, but I could not tell what it was. A form stood before my eyes, and I head a hushed voice:—Job 4:12-16  (Eliphaz is Speaking and he is wrong.)

NOTES: God does NOT do things for secrets or in secret. When He appears or that of someone for Him, it’s for the people. Always for the people. When He sends a direct message for someone, it WILL be said that it’s for that person. When He says tell the people, you tell the people. He doesn’t give secret messages to be kept to self!

‘Can a mortal be more righteous than God? Can a man be more pure than his Maker? If God places no trust in His servants, if He charges His angels with error, how much more those who live in houses of clay, whose foundations are in the dust, who are crushed more readily than a moth! Between dawn and dusk they are broken to pieces; unnoticed, they perish forever. Are not the cords of their tent pulled up, so that they die without wisdom?’—Job 4:17-21  (Eliphaz is Speaking and he is wrong.)

‘Call if you will, but who will answer you? To which of the holy ones will you turn? Resentment kills a fool, and envy slays the simple. I myself have seen a fool taking root, but suddenly his house was cursed. His children are far from safety, crushed in court without a defender. The hungry consume his harvest, taking it even from among thorns, and the thirsty pant after his wealth. For hardship does not spring from the soil, nor does trouble sprout from the ground. Yet man is born to trouble as surely as sparks fly upward.—Job 5:1-7  (Eliphaz is Speaking and he is wrong.)

‘But if it were I, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before Him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. He bestows rain on the earth; He sends water upon the countryside. The lowly He sets on high, and those who mourn are lifted to safety. He thwarts the plans of the crafty, so that their hands achieve no success. He catches the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away. Darkness comes upon them in the daytime; at noon they grope as in the night. He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; He saves them from the clutches of the powerful. So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.—Job 5:8-16 (Eliphaz is speaking and he is wrong.)

*Blessed is the man whom God corrects; so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. For He wounds, but He also binds up; He injuries, but His hands also heal. From six calamities He will rescue you; in seven no harm will befall you. In famine He will ransom you from death, and in battle from the stroke of the sword. You will be protected from the lash of the tongue, and need not fear when destruction comes. You will laugh at destruction and famine, and need not fear the beasts of the earth. For you will have a covenant with the stones of the field, and the wild animals will be at peace with you. You will know that your tent is secure; you will take stock of your property and find nothing missing. You will know that your children will be many, and your descendants like the grass of the earth. You will come to the grave in full vigor, like sheaves gathered in season. ‘We have examined this, and it is true. So hear it and apply it to yourself.’—Job 5:17-27 (Eliphaz is Speaking and he is wrong.)

Then Job replied: ‘If only my anguish could be weighed and all my misery be placed on the scales! It would surely outweigh the sand of the seas―no wonder my words have been impetuous. The arrows of the Almighty are in me, my spirit drinks in their poison; God’s terrors are marshaled against me. Does a wild donkey bray when it has grass, or an ox bellow when it has fodder? Is tasteless food eaten without salt, or is there flavor in the white of an egg? I refuse to touch it; such food makes me ill.—Job 6:1-7 (Job is Speaking)

‘Oh, that I might have my request, that God would grant what I hope for, that God would be willing to crush me, to let loose His hand and cut me off! Then I would still have this consolation—my joy in unrelenting pain—that I had not denied the words of the Holy One. What strength do I have, that I should still hope? What prospects, that I should be patient? Do I have the strength of stone? Is my flesh bronze? Do I have any power to help myself, now that success has been driven from me?―Job 6:8-13 (Job is Speaking)

‘A despairing man should have the devotion of his friends, even though he forsakes the fear of the Almighty. But my brothers are as undependable as intermittent streams, as the streams that overflow when darkened by thawing ice and swollen with melting snow, but that cease to flow in the dry season, and in the heat vanish from their channels. Caravans turn aside from their routes; they go up into the wasteland and perish. The caravans of Tema look for water, the traveling merchants of Sheba look in hope. They are distressed, because they have been confident; they arrive there, only to be disappointed. Now you too have proved to be no help; you see something dreadful and are afraid. Have I ever said, ‘Give something on my behalf, pay a ransom for me from your wealth, deliver me from the hand of the enemy, ransom me from the clutches of the ruthless’?—Job 6:14-23 (Job is Speaking)

‘Teach me, and I will be quiet; show me where I have been wrong. How painful are honest words! But what do your arguments prove? Do you mean to correct what I say, and treat the words of a despairing man as wind? You would even cast lots for the fatherless and barter away your friend.—Job 6:24-27 (Job is Speaking)

But now be so kind as to look at me. Would I lie to your face? Relent, do not be unjust; reconsider, for my integrity is at stake. Is there any wickedness on my lips? Can my mouth not discern malice?—Job 6:28-20 (Job is Speaking)

Does not man have hard service on earth? Are not his days like those of a hired man? Like a slave longing for the evening shadows, or a hired man waiting eagerly for his wages, so I have been allotted months of futility, and nights of misery have been assigned to me. When I lie down I think, ‘How long before I get up?’ The night drags on, and I toss till dawn. My body is clothed with worms and scabs, my skin is broken and festering.―Job 7:1-5(Job is Speaking)

My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle, and they come to an end without hope. Remember, O God, that my life is but a breath; my eyes will never see happiness again. The eye that now sees me will see me no longer; You will look for me, but I will be no more. As a cloud vanishes and is gone, so he who goes down to the grave does not return. He will never come to his house again; his place will know him no more.―Job 7:6-10 (Job is Speaking)

Therefore I will not keep silent; I will complain in the bitterness of my soul. Am I the sea, or the monster of the deep, that you put me under guard? When I think my bed will comfort me and my couch will ease my complaint, even then You frighten me with dreams and terrify me with visions, so that I prefer strangling and death, rather than this body of mine. I despise my life; I would not live forever.―Job 7:11-16 (Job is Speaking)

What is man that You make so much of him, that You give him so much attention, that You examine him every morning and test him every moment? Will You never look away from me, or let me alone even for an instant? If I have sinned, what have I done to You, O watcher of men? Why have You made me Your target? Have I become a burden to You? Why do You not pardon my offenses and forgive my sins? For I will soon lie down in the dust; You will search for me, but I will be no more.—Job 7:17-21 (Job is Speaking)
