‘So Many Times’

There’s no pleasing you. It isn’t your fault. Humans could never be pleased from that first day. The point in all of life is to teach, to take something that’s hard to please and teach it something, anything. Is it really teachable?

So Many Times
 
why do you detest
in peace
and
in unrest
 
why do you complain
and moan
while working
with no rest
when you complain
and moan
when given
plenty of rest
 
why do you wail and scream
when treated differently
then wail and scream
even more
when treated the same
 
you complain in stress
you complain in rest
 
what's left
but simply
death

(June 13, 2020)―There’s no pleasing you. It isn’t your fault. Humans could never be pleased from that first day. The point in all of life is to teach, to take something that’s hard to please and teach it something, anything. Is it really teachable?

The Lord led me to the end point of Jonah. You know the story. God calls on Jonah to go and prophesy against Nineveh and Jonah runs like hell because anybody who truly knows God knows what it means to be called by Him. People believe what they can see, so if you’re called by what people can’t see and do what is asked, these ‘people‘ think you’re freaking nuts! So, Jonah, a true child of God, ran! Of course, all children of God know that we can only run so far! Soon or later, and when God wants something…it is usually sooner, God catches up and forces the issue!

‘Vastness of Discourse’

Everything is connected! Everything is NOT what it seems!

Vastness of Discourse
  
 it never fails
 cruelty, disloyalty
 forgetfulness
 tiny bits...adds up
 to the vastness
 of ugliness
  
 the Lord† showing His† face
 only to be disgraced
 man-made disobedience
 the loaded gun of control
 –in their seamlessness
 of greediness
  
 nineveh...your given symbol
 truth of its legacy
 –a failed heart
 in its self-destructiveness
  
 you aren't any better–
 your stripping cadence
 forgetting then adhering
 –never knowing truth
 in all its easiness
  
 this lure of money's faithfulness
 has again...trapped you
 not knowing truth
 in holiness
  
 'why am I here'
  
 your constant weariness
 –your uncleverness
 due to the end result–
 the control of you
 power, wealth
 the seekers of the doers
 keeping you sedated
 over and over
  
 you...not seeing God†
 His† endless process
 thousands of years
 captured by your hunger
 for lust
 sexual, murderous mutilation
 –without understanding
 the connection of oneness
  

(December 19, 2019)―I was a little girl. My mother was sitting in her chair on the edge of the seat. I was standing in front of her. My back towards her, sort of leaning on her. Her arms around me. Daddy is stooping in front of me. My eyes are even with his. He has his arms up and he’s looking up. He has his fingers in my hair, moving my hair around. I feel the liquid running down each side of my face. He’s trying to clear the path so he can see the damage done.

‘Pulling A Jonah’

Adhering to the Message!

 Pulling A Jonah
  
 you can run
but you can't hide
 upon you, lies God's† eye
 from one end to the next‒
 He† does not change His† tide
 He† remains the same‒
 in all colors of die
  
 no use in the pretend‒
 no use in loud or shy
 His† call to you to ride–
 to accept or to deny
 either way
you'll pay with your life
 eternity in die
 eternity in the light
 you choose
you have that right
  
 ‒that calling comes
from really high‒
 you can run
but you can't hide
 you...He'll† seek and find
 throw you in perils of life
 'til you accept with every sigh
  
 cry little birdie...cry
 He'll† wait
'til you get the right high
 bowing your head
reaching for the sky
  
 He'll† force your comply
 He† knows your heart inside
 His† calling
from within or outside
 important for the rise
 He'll† rage the water‒
 'til you submit to the cry
 then you'll see‒
 the beauty of the light

(August 13, 2019)―The things we do NOT listen to! Oh, my! Karen, you’re such a hard-headed child! Agreed! Agreed! The story of Jonah. That’s where I was led to this morning. I’ve written about Jonah before comparing it to the feeling of depression. That’s how I find the separate parts of each Scripture is: They tell us something different to each individual, but as a whole, the story of Jonah is much more powerful.
