‘…This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed….’—Luke 2:25-35
Within Me
blessed is He† within me
for another child will be born
one to be consecrated by God†
to help those in harm
‒for His† first born came
His† spirit remains
in truth...for all's salvation
He's† building His† army
seeds planted to save
His† love spreads
pulling all who answers
from the dead
His† good shepherd will come
against all odds
bring true love in sum
opening wide
the gates of the kingdom
‒with his gentle seed
he'll plant the helper
the one who'll come
to empower His† church
stripping evil of its game
‒for Jesus'† spirit
in him...will remain
the good shepherd
will join his wife
‒a marriage in God's† eyes
paving the way‒
together...a boy and a girl
born to an aged mother
who's granted favor
by the holy Father†
who'll be guided
by Jesus the Savior†
born will be a family
to aid...fight the enemy
‒no evil...with them
will take company
‒for Jesus'† hand
will wrap them in holy
blessed will come
this new birth
extending Jesus'† hand
healing the broken
fighting the enemy
as God† begins the journey
‒calling some home
then deciding the inheritance‒
only His† tribes to share
holy, holy the almighty Lord†
embraces what's to come
growing His† kingdom
spreading love
through a sum
‒the good shepherd
made from a sinner
paving the way
‒his seed's coming to say
'two gates are opened'
then he'll help the way
for those choosing
Jesus' Way
Note: The photograph that accompanies this work was taken December 10th. The baby is at the left bottom of frame. This is just one of the babies God has put in the sky for me to photograph.
(December 25, 2019)―This morning I opened my Bible to Acts then closed it. With tears in my eyes, I asked God my usual question, ‘What do You want me to write about?’ But I added this: ‘Since I’ll be doing this for the rest of my life.’ I opened my Bible again and the Scripture pertaining to John the Baptist and Jesus’ birth. This is no accident.
I read through it, then ‘Within Me’ bled on the page. I write what I hear. I know I head this clear. God has been showing me a baby for a while now. This baby is not Jesus. Go look under God’s Mercy. He has put a baby in the sky several times. No, I’m not pregnant. I don’t even have a boyfriend. It is still clear that God is pointing this out to us. There are things that are being revealed to me that I cannot tell yet, but I will eventually.
When? Is
this all really going to happen? I know God. Yes, it will happen. When? I’m not
God. His time is not ours. I am His messenger. I write what He tells me. I
don’t doubt that it is Him and Jesus that I talk to, although I question it all
the time. God is in charge. He can make us hear
what He wants us to hear. He can make us see what He wants us to see. So, no matter who is talking to me, it still is God. For He
is in control! I fear God. Whatever He wants from me, He gets. If you don’t
live your life this way, then you should question why.
He sent
the words in ‘Within Me’ this morning,
the day we celebrate His Son’s birth, for a reason. He directed me to this
Scripture to tell me, ‘Yes, Karen, it is I you
are talking to.’
