‘Places Shackled’

You’ve Got to Ask God and Stop Complaining!

A sample from Book 10

(December 20, 2016)—I had an online discussion early, early this morning when I posted an article about the inauguration of the President of the United States. It’s amazing how easy it is for people to believe in false stories, to see how easy deception is playing its role. I ended the discussion, then posted my thoughts of truth on my personal page.

This morning I was lead to Psalm 11

…the Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence His soul hates On the wicked, He will rain fiery coals and burning sulfur, a scorching wind will be their lot. For the Lord is righteous, He loves justice; upright men will see His face.

Most of what took place in the Bible happened on the African continent because that is where Christ was born. There is no dispute here. The ancient maps reveal exactly how this all unfolds. Okay. So, does this mean that Africa is special or needs to be put above all? No. It means that once all of this particular part of the world was connected and that there was a lot of turmoil that man could not solve on his own.

Men Miss the Point of What Makes a Woman Special!

A sample from Book 10

(November 29, 2016)—The blog is coming…slow, mind-bogging, aggravating…the books, too. Who cares! All I have is time. What the hell’s the rush for anyways?! Live your life. It’s all about being a woman. It’s all about loving yourself just the way you are. Anyone who can’t comprehend that can take the bus!

To all you guys who appreciate a good woman (all of her—emotions, baggage, cries and laughter, ass-hole family members, etc., etc.), you are a good man. Stay like that. There are so very few of you. Those other guys, they are complete morons.

You Are NOT a Girl! You ARE a Woman!

A sample from Book 10

(September 28, 2016)—Traditions. Lies. Stories. What’s real? What’s not? It’s hard to tell these days with so many websites putting up fake information, with so many people, like the underground web, Photoshopping and manipulating, specifically, to deceive us.

In order to survive through all the mess, we have to know who we are inside, our individual truth, and we all, individually, have to stand for something, and that something has to be a good something free of anger and hate.

I read all these articles concerning race. I have to ask—What the hell? I’m a woman. I write about abuse not because it was my life-long ambition, but because it was an experience that altered the entire course of my life! I decided after going through so much of other people’s drama that if I didn’t take all this negative and turn it around, it would consume me. So…I plowed on.

Ladies: ‘Lean In’ and Take the Lead!

A sample from Book 10

(September 9, 2016)—If you are new to my writings, here’s the gust of it: My writings take you through my personal journey through silent abuse, then the five stages of grief, then the gaining of strength to not be afraid of being a free-thinking woman in today’s society. I post here bits and pieces of that journey.

The whole of it is being compiled in over 11 books. I have been ridiculed greatly for these writings, for being so out-spoken. It did affect me at the beginning, but once I learned how to gain the strength needed to move forward, it became easier and easier, and that is the sole purpose of the why behind all of this writing.

Is Race Going To Continue To Rule Your Life?

A sample from Book 10

(July 20, 2016)—You don’t have to read this. Ignore it. It’s okay. I’m used to it, but, like Mother Teresa, I won’t stop. It’s my choice. It’s your choice to ignore. I still choose to love you. I still choose to pray. I still choose to speak of God’s message in the voice that He gave to me. I still choose to hope that others will see truth and stop falling to lies and deceit…that, too, is a choice. I choose truth.

Cloth Yourself In God’s Word!

A sample from Book 10

(August 7, 2015)—…When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.—Luke 12:4-12

I’ve been listening to all the B.S. being reported these days. I guess that’s where ‘Yclad’ comes from. The word yclad means clothed. If we are honorable in our faith then we should not worry. That’s what the above verse means. By honorable, I mean true.

You can say you believe in God all you want. You can say you pray all you want. But if you are not in it with all of your heart, then you are not with God. Period. The strife that comes into your life are tests.

‘Colorless Birds’

We’re All Various Shades of Brown!

A sample from Book 10

(October 20, 2017)—Can you feel it? The emotions of this piece. Each time I read ‘Colorless Birds,’I get thick in the throat. It was written April 15, 2015. That says a lot about change. How sad are we!

I watched a video last night about a brown boy (who I will name Tom) who was raised by a white mother. He never had any problems with the law. He was raised like I was raised. One day, he and a white friend was pulled over. He was searched first. The white friend had a bag of weed on him. Tom did what I would do. When the police began to search his vehicle, he asked to see a warrant. I know that police can search if in the moment there is probable cause. The bag of weed was. Tom did what any young person would do. It was innocent. The police gained up on Tom and beat him to almost death. I forget how many stitches he had to have after all was said and done. The other boy was not touched.

Are You Willing To Ignore?

A sample from Book 10

(January 18, 2014)―In this particular set of books in my series, I’ve been writing about what I hear, see, and read in the media. History is one of my most favorite subjects and recording what is becoming history is most exciting.

I told you I write about many subjects…I wasn’t kidding. I live, most of the time, outside the box. Life is very interesting to see [it] from the outside. If you come here to just be hyped up, you’ll be disappointed. I’m here to touch every emotion you have, not just one or two.

You MUST Take Action Instead of Trolling!

A sample from Book 10

(December 15, 2012)—Enough of this bitching: As I was reading my Facebook news today, I came across a post by a friend and I couldn’t keep myself from responding. After I reread my response several times, I felt it most important to repost it here on my own page. You can agree or disagree, but the facts still remain.

Here’s my response: Our founding fathers in establishing the Judicial Branch had the perfect idea. They had lived in times where innocent people were assumed to do crimes and were punished, many by immediate death, before any investigations were done to prove if they actually did the crime or not. By simply looking guilty or not liked by the town or being at the wrong place at the wrong time or having Christian beliefs, they were automatically assumed to be guilty.

‘Kicking through Doors’

Is Someone’s Crime Taking Away What You Stand For?

A sample from Book 10

(September 1, 2016)—This is one of the quotes I have taped to my computer screen. ‘Standing for something’ is that rock that so many people try to chip away as the years go by. It’s like those who don’t have a solid grasp of anything can’t stand the fact that you do.

If you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.

I stand behind my theory that we learn from other people’s experiences. If no one writes about their experiences, then how are we to learn and do better or survive through ordeals that we really don’t understand.
